Soooo… I started my day getting ma hair and nails did at Luv salon, then lunch and wholehearted chats with my Mamma, surprise rose delivery from my Broski, and a dinner for three with two of the hottest dates in town! I’m a lucky lady… Grateful for all the Vday love today! Breathing it in, and sending it alllllllllll back to the Universe. Pretty sure being single on Valentine’s day is kinda awesome! Here’s to self love in 2014 and beyond!
The most amazing miracle/ random act of kindness just happened. I arrived at YVR for a flight and the line up for security was… Unbelievable. Like I’m not kidding when I say it might have been half a mile long. I had only 35 minutes until boarding, so I went to the express line and asked the agent if I could fast track. She told me that I had to go to the end of the epic long line and my flight didn’t qualify as soon enough. So I started the walk of shame to the end of the huuuuge line, knowing I would miss my flight (S.O.L. for my surprise plans this evening), and half way down someone in the line got my attention and stopped me. I turned around and there was a guy flagging me back and following an air canada agent. So I followed them and when I got back to the express line the gate agent with the guy was like… These two are traveling together! Let her in the line… And give her a green sticker. Evidently the guy wearing a hooded jacket in front of me felt bad and must have told the agent I was with him, so that I could make my flight. He totally saved the day… Then he proceeded to stand in front of me for the next 20 minutes while we went through security not saying a word to me, didn’t even give me his name, even though I tried to thank him profusely… He just shrugged and turned around again. Thanks again for that, Mr Anonymous. You are my hero today. The Universe has my back… Grateful for the love!
I went to Texas in January… it was pretty awesome!
